A Joint Collaboration Signing Ceremony between Bionas and ELSBETT Technologie GmbH, German at Regency Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur, 10 December 2009 - A Joint Collaboration Signing Ceremony between Bionas and ELSBETT Technologie GmbH, German was held at the Regency Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This collaboration to enable ELSBETT to run various tests and to certify Bionas latest technology 'Jatropha B20 Emulsified Biofuel'. The base oil of Bionas Emulsified B20 Biofuel is processed Jatropha oil emulsified with some water and mixed with Diesel, Petrol and Canola (Rapeseed Oil). The joint venture company will then market these products in German and other European countries.

Economic Survival Program on Jatropha Curcas Plantation at Long Sobeng, Ulu Tinjar, Sarawak.

Bintulu, Sarawak, 05 - 07 December 2009 - Economic Survival Program on Jatropha Curcas Plantation at rural area of Long Sobeng, Ulu Tinjar, Sarawak organized by BIONAS and Mr Henry Layu, Bionas Nursery at Bintulu. These 3 days program were participated by Bionas nurseries from Limbang, Lawas, Ulu Baram, Miri, Sebauh, Tatau, Julau, Bintangor, Pusa, Spaoh, Serian and Kuching. There were also participation of 8 villages in Ulu Tinjar areas successfully sold their harvests to Bionas. All the villagers receieved 100% financing from Bionas.

BIONAS with Dato' Haji Nik Abdul Aziz, Chief Minister of Kelantan

KOTA BAHRU, Kelantan, Dec 28 - BIONAS will develop the Jatropha Agropolitan Project in Kelantan as a contribution to East Corridor Economic Region (ECER) development. Kelantanese are encourged to cultivate Jatropha Curcas either directly or via the intercropping methods. More nurseries will be appointed in Kelantan with Press Mill and Collection Centre Facialities.
